Service Notices - Horseshoe Bay-Langdale

Vessel Deployment

Posted October 25, 2005

On October 26, the Queen of Coquitlam will assume service on the Langdale – Horseshoe Bay route.

From October 26 – November 13, the Queen of Surrey will replace the Queen of Alberni on the Duke Point – Tsawwassen route while that ship undergoes its annual refit.

On November 14, the Queen of Surrey then heads off until mid-June 2006 to undergo a substantial overhaul and upgrade to prepare the ship for another 20 years of service.

All sailings will remain as scheduled on the Langdale – Horseshoe Bay route.  As the vehicle carrying capacity on both C-class vessels is the same, there will be no impact on our service.
