Donate your old computer to 2^nd Byte.  We are a non profit Microsoft Authorized  Refurbisher (MAR) who will clean, test, and where possible, restore your computer to it's peak performance.    After rigorous hardware testing, we will install a genuine copy of either Microsoft Windows 98, Microsoft Windows 2000 Professional or Microsoft Windows XP as an operating system.  For Software we preload an open source freeware Business Software Suite.  (Microsoft recently announced that Microsoft Office 2003 Professional is available to us, but we have not received it yet.)  After more testing, we will then redistribute the computer to some one local in need of a computer.

Computers & software are accepted - minimum Pentium 133 please.  Monetary donations for expenses, parts and supplies also very much appreciated.

A receipt for income tax purposes will gladly be issued for the fair market value of your donations, upon request.
